1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (KJV)

Now this passage is much misused to indicate the validity of the deadly deception of the rapture doctrine. It is also used to preach that we shall be given indestructible bodies that are "immune to everything including hell". I tell you, those that require such a body require it necessarily, that is where such people are going of a truth.

The corruptible in view is our sensual carnal nature with which we have reasoned as animals, it is a requirement of sin that we have the ability to covet. Without a natural ability to covet we could not sin, (the lust of the eyes). likewise without the sinful evaluation of the environment and considering the irrelevance of God in our thinking (the lust of the flesh) we would not insist on our own worthiness (the pride of life) in that we would consider such carnality as "our selves".

The passage correctly states that the sinful nature is not our "self" - that we have chosen in Christ to be remade without a carnal sinful nature, to inherit a life without it (the corruption inheriting incorruption.) We, and the dead likewise will be made incorruptible without such carnal nature(s). (Or else we will be forcibly kept marionettes under mind control.)

Indeed without an animal nature, (a sinful nature by biblical definition) we need not have sin, which is the initial mote of the sharp prick of carnality that leads to death; We will never again be under condemnation of the law, being without disobedience and dwelling in the presence of God whom we value more than this present world and its testing with cares and concerns of pleasure.

We have this in only the new covenant of Jesus Christ, we should not falter.
