Working In The World

We see in this sixth chapter the construction of a "set of balances" numbered 660 as found in the black horse or third seal of revelation; yet constructed from princes set over the kingdom as if it were the image to the beast or "Hell" that follows after "Death".. The second kingdom in the OT quartet (from the statue dream) has one king, Darius. The king does according to his own will but the kingdom is "divided" amongst two powers, the King and the second artificial "balance" constructed from princes and three presidents. However, Daniel as set over them all does not play satan's game, and plays the unique part of the identity known in the NT as "the restrainer". In serving the king as a man of virtue, the kingdom as a device of satan is "circumvented" by a man of God.

Of particular note is that this second central power structure can issue laws by approval of the king that not even the king may dissolve. Whereas the king may himself act according to his desire, (as the system of 666 would show) The second set of balances would also number as 666, yet Daniel does not think dialectically to play the devil's game but is given the fixed position (as unity) by God to decide on the matters brought to the three presidents (of which he is first, the judge) in a manner where the outcome is positive. There is found in Daniel no compromise or covetousness or desire for power in his judgements on the king's behalf; Daniel does not weigh the matters brought to him for his own selfish benefit. The system with Daniel, (the restrainer) in place does not even number to 660; Daniel does not judge carnally but by wisdom given him from God.

Dan 6:1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
Dan 6:2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
Dan 6:3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
Dan 6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Dan 6:5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. (KJV)

There would be 120 princes, right? (The order of the group S5). The princes are to report to the presidents whom act as judges over them, so that commandments for each princes fiefdom may be brought to the king for signing, and matters of disagreement may be decided by the presidents rather than for the king to suffer the loss of revenue or lands in trivial disputes within his kingdom. In effect, we may consider that the two presidents under Daniel bring to the table matters of dispute over which Daniel administers judgement - or more properly is gifted the solution as the unity element to the dispute as the balances in the field GF(8). (as "oil" rather than to appease the opposing parties through compromise.)

In essence the two presidents represent any two princes' dispute and Daniel is in the unique position to do according to his own pleasure as factoring down to A5 from S5 conjugating with the 120 "positions" or elements of S5. However, Daniel does no work on the grounds of what is his own pleasure, or even that of the king's. Daniel is a devout and just man, and the two presidents and the princes find that the lack of compromise in Daniel leaves open a position that they covet - in order to be a judge and be able to do according to their own pleasure in Daniel's place as placing themselves over the kingdom as numbered 666.

The king would set Daniel over the whole kingdom because of his wisdom given to him by God, (an excellent spirit.) The princes and presidents acknowledge Daniel's wisdom - having found no reason or accusation of greasing any palms or spoiling the king's goods they desire to have Daniel removed by attacking him on the grounds of his daily prayers to God, to cause him to finally compromise on the fixed position he holds on necessary obedience to God - This will set him up to sin in compromise and the devil's device would have gained a foothold in Daniel, to cause him to lose the gift of the restrainer - however Daniel does no compromise at all.
