The Word Of God

It is remarkable that the inheritance of the saints is shown by the angel to be "The word of God". The imagery is of the full inheritance given to every believer in the marriage of the Lamb. Whereas "he" is clearly identified by the words written on Him (see the letter to the angel of the church in philadlphia) This inheritance is given to all, from the least in the Kingdom of heaven to Christ Himself. As the angel whom John did fall down to worship assured him that the testimony from Jesus through the spirit is the nature of prophecy, that scene is nicely dovetailed with this vision that every believer speaks as the "word of God" being a vessel for the life and testimony of Christ.

John sees heaven opened - we note that John is in the spirit, and was commanded to "come up hither". Is John now on earth seeing heaven opened above him or is he in heaven opened seeing the earth beneath? We may say either, as long as we note that the armies of heaven ride out following the angel or "overcoming son" to the last battle of armageddon. They, dressed with fine linen; white and clean follow him to battle.

Out of his mouth goes a sharp sword to smite the nations, and he also treads the winepress of God's wrath. As sons overcome the beast the leavening causes the winepress to tighten. The very least leaves the church and draws others out of the image system. Then the winepress is tread when every elect son has left the churches. By elect I equate to "sealed" - there are foolish virgins left orphaned within the city - revealed by the 7000 dead in the earthquake at the resurrection of the two witnesses.

Then John sees another angel after the overcoming son, stood in the right hand or "sun" octal. This angel calls out the armies of the beast and false prophet by charging every unclean spirit to come to the battle to eat the flesh of all the host of heaven assembled. This last angel could conceivably be the last of the whole flock to exit all the churches, rather than the least in the kingdom of heaven; this would ensure that the armies of heaven have now been readied to the battle after the scarlet beast is judged. The armies of heaven follow after the overcoming sons of God that are already on earth: Their robes are washed with the blood of the lamb - and there are many of them. Can it be that John is seeing from heaven to the situation on earth below?

The sword from the mouth of "the word" is even found in the angel stood in the sun, in calling out the unclean spirits to bring together the beast and false prophet to battle in the hope of devouring the inheritance of those dwelling in heavenly places, but are actually turned back upon themselves as so to feast on the slain of the beast and false prophet that are taken and cast into the lake of fire.

The winepress is trodden out by the rider on the white horse - showing the movement under the Holy Spirit of the vials against the city of the image. The city by degrees gets larger as the flock leaves and the image leavens and the wrath gets "tighter" or fiercer as the flock is gathered together.

As the collection of all the "least" of the flock, the rider on the horse is that which tightens the fierceness of the wrath: the creation groans as the Sons of God are expected to ride out after their (the rider's) number is fulfilled - The manifestation of the Sons of God causes pangs of torment on the city until she gives birth to the man child, the completed number of the "word of God" as the number of the saints is closed up. When the Sons are manifested, the city is judged and the beast is taken in the judgement and the Church (false prophet) with her.

Likewise those that dwell in the multitudes in the wilderness that are under the scarlet beast and the woman are those deceived that have the mark of the beast and whom worship the image. These two as Death and Hell are cast into the lake of fire at the moment when satan is cast into the bottomless pit. This serpent and locust system now completed with the dragon is the second death, the fire burning with brimstone that obscures God to and from them.

The remnant of those left alive (standing far off from the city) are slain with the sword from the mouth of the rider - they as armies surrounding the camp of God's people are devoured with fire from God's judgement. At this point we see the completion of the spiritual reality of the battle of armageddon, the spiritual war raged since the cross which is the "Gog and Magog conflict".
