 The City Descends
The angel with John dparts and John is approached by one of the angels that had one of the seven last plagues, and talked to Johnin order to show Him the bride - the saints or the "New Jerusalem".

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

As the now sanctified GF(4) filter descends through the octal under multiplcation, the city is in possession of the glory of God - a people worthy of this glory, (having overcome this most evil and wretched creation that will ever be created.) - Like a precious stone clear and with no darkness in it - as if the light of God within were visible everywhere thoughout.
The city has high and unassailable walls with twelve gates that only the redeemed of Christ can enter. Twelve angels guard these gates - and only the twelve tribes of sealed born again Israel may enter. The city is built upon the knowledge passed to the twelve apostles of Christ, (Of which survives what small fraction today we dont yet know.)
The twelve gates and the twelve angels and the twelve foundations correspond to the three choices of unity on the K4 filter that has four further correspondences of static subgroup in the octal. This is equivalent to the three automorphisms of the octals with its four different static subgroups for a fixed unity. It makes no difference to cloud the matter of the eight seven cycles, there is but one "sea of glass" - this new jerusalem clear as crystal.
The chapter continues with the desciption of the measurement or form of the city.

Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The symmetries of the K4 filter in the octal are represented by these dimensions, which are as a cube - in order to show there is no respect of persons when it comes to the election of God. There is no true "greatest" in the kingdom of heaven, merely the underpinning by a "least".
The city is refined and sanctified as Holy - as clear as crystal yet golden: the foundations of the city - (the doctrine passed down from Christ) are also as twelve precious stones without cost for their worth. Every gate is as a pearl, so we are to understand that "pearls cast before swine" are the crumbs eaten from the children's table. - We are fortuneate indeed to be grafted in and have the right to enter.
There is no temple within te city indwelt by a priestly caste, for all in the city are kings and priests to serve God day and night. In faact ther is no light of the sun or moon required in the city - every octal in what remains of the sea of glass is dwelling with God in obedience. God shows the perfect example as the light of the city and the predestination of believers in grace heals them all as with the fruits of the tree of life.
The great kings of the earth bring their glory into the city - it is the case that these kings correspond to the static triples of the various left hands of the newly formed and now sanctified octal. They rather give or bring their glory and honour in the "new earth" to the city - they come in for healing also to find rest in the presence of God.
The gates are never shut. In truth the city or body of the elect in Christ are the temple. The city with its gates allow the redeemed to enter and exit - they ascend and descend on the Son of Man as seen by John here with heaven open - if they should stumble then there is healing for them in returning to God's throne boldly.
All the glory and honour of the nations is brought into the city - the gentiles are clearly grafted inwithout preference given to the physical bloodline of Abraham: It is the case that there is no super-caste of mega-apostles or supreme elect, all are equal in the rewards given.
Nothing that makes a lie - a disobedient person that frustrates the spirit of grace, false God, or gospel, or idol shall enter in. Those that would not repent under the principle L(G) have no place in this city, wherever they were from.
